The rain poured down relentlessly, adding to Twilight’s sorrow. The wind whipped her mane across her face as she looked out into the scorched valley ahead of her. Spike’s thunderous roar rang out in the stormy night, blending in with the mighty strikes of lightning behind her. He was well aware of Twilight’s presence. His massive form descended upon her, ready to bath her in his lethal flame.
The memories of her youth came flooding back as she stared down his roaring jowls. All the good times she’d had with him in Ponyville; every adventure they’d had together. Tears flowed freely from her eyes as her former assistant drew closer with malicious intent.
Twilight grit her teeth and held back a sob. It was too late to save him. She knew what she had to do. With a spark of magic, she pulled her sword from its sheath.
I’m getting a weird vibe to God of War 3 by looking at this:
