Nothing sexualized about it apart from your mind potentially being in the gutter. It’s only six women standing in either swimwear or their undergarments.

What part of this isn’t safe? They’re all dressed.
Other than being a nice thing here, but why is this tagged safe?
The thumbnail made me think Rainbow Dash was pregnant at first…

I think it was relieved in the comics that Fluttershy might be the oldest of the Mane 6.
Background Pony #5B79
Tall Fluttershy has always a favorite headcanon of mine. Same with Dashie being small and athletic.

I don’t know, I guess it comes down to headcanon. Personally, I’ve seen girls who were always tall for their ages get teased constantly for it, and grew shy and timid from the constant remarking. Straight down to growing their hair long and hiding behind it when talking to unfamiliar people.

I know she’s only a few inches taller than them. I just don’t think it suits her to be the tallest. It doesn’t feel right.

I think it’s more of a decoy effect, since she’s also right next to the shortest person. She’s only a few inches taller than AJ and Rarity.

Besides, Fluttershy always was taller than the other ponies her age (See Cutie Mark Chronicles). I suppose here, it’s more to give each person a distinct style, so being tall is a logical leap to do that.
@BrownieComicWriter

That’s what I was thinking.

Except why is Fluttershy so tall?

This is hardly realistic, it’s very stylized.

Still, there’s actually a lot of little tells if you actually look at the art. Rainbow Dash and Applejack both have more defined calves than the others as well as thicker thighs indicating their legs are well muscled (notice Applejack’s left leg doesn’t taper until it reaches her knee; she is ripped).

Additionally Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity have a line on their stomachs indicating they’ve built up a little definition there, which is about all you see in most athletes until they train vanity muscles in addition to muscles related to their sport/work. Presumably Rarity exercises the most behind RD and AJ to maintain her figure.

Lastly AJ has huge deltoids and forearms, while RD has more defined delts and thicker upper arms than the others.

It’s not realistic, but the artist knew what they were doing and put in a lot of little indications on how fit RD and AJ are.

And the only one there really with an hour glass figure is Rarity, who would be built something like Christina Hendricks in real life, based on this art.

Just , there is training for vanity and training for function. A six pack is for vanity. Thick thighs and thick forearms are for function.

“realistic”

Applejack and Rainbow Dash are supposed to be top-level athletes.
They’re drawn with hourglass figures.
Even Rarity, who’s supposed to be stereoptyically beautiful, is pretty extreme. Hips like that, in real life, look really weird on an otherwise skinny body.

That actually make think of making a fanfiction. Hmm

That’s a nervous mother. Kids must be playing with the crazy uncle.
Darn, double comment.

Apologies if anyone is offended. I try to be as polite as possible but sometimes the demons win.

Sooo… Fluttershy in this pic really gives off the motherly vibe. What do you think, chaps?

No need to get all condescending over this.
@SFant
I suppose there isn’t a need for an all powerful being(s) when you have physical manifestations of day and night cycles, love, magic, and chaos.

@Diaz
No need to get all flank-flustered over this. Now be good boy and go look at the human-shaped ponies while the grown-ups talk.

I’m sure they are avoiding a serious take on it, and that’s whatever.
I was merely refuting the idea that organized religion in Equestria, and especially cults that mirror human religions, is somehow unthinkable.

And that’s putting ASIDE that a ruler literally responsible for the cycle of day and night has a pretty strong claim to divinity all her own. “God” is a very flexible concept that varies considerably from culture to culture, so I could absolutely believe that Celestia (and probably the other Princesses) have religious cult followings.

The options are to either hedge around the issue without comment, to be creative with it and have every Christian group in the country screaming at them for teaching children to worship the Devil, or to embrace Christianity and marginalize every other religion in the world.

So yeah, cartoons tend to hedge around religion so Big Christianity doesn’t have their heads rolling.
