Despite Sonic SatAM being in the same time slot as Power Rangers (which was in its prime), it was also airing around the time when Disney bought ABC, which ultimately led to Disney’s One Saturday Morning block. In other words, it is very likely SatAM would have gotten cancelled, one way or another. Hell, even Reboot got the axe around the same time!

I actually liked AoStH, personally. SU was just a slap-in-the-face to fans of Sonic AND SatAM! What’s worse is the fact that the first episode features a crumbling statue of King Acorn, which is a grim reminder of a much better Sonic show.
I’m pretty sure the anime Sazae-san has more episodes than any other animated series that ever came into creation. I know that’s not the point here, but the show is still going on even long after the manga has ended and after mangaka Machiko Hasegawa’s death.
More than 1000
just not used to it

Wow…
I do know in one promo interestingly the protagonists wore Star Wars costume to honor Episode VII…
As of three years ago, mind.

I can’t believe I’m only just now responding to this, but SatAM had 2 seasons.
It gets even worse…

Technically, it got cancelled because ABC stupidly put it in the same timeslot as Power Rangers (Power Rangers was still on Fox Kids at the time).
Wait, they cancelled one AWESOME show, in favor of a LEGENDARY show?
Scratch, Grounder and Robotnik was what I most about the show. I barely recall what Sonic and Tails did other than stop the bad guys.
Exactly! AoStH was a riot! Even Doug Walker itted that he actually liked the show, during his commentary on his Sonic review.
I kind of like AoStH for it’s wackiness and the bad guys have a three stooges vibe I really enjoy.

Sonic underground was abysmal. Still better then the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, but still.
I can’t believe they made Sonic Underground, instead of continuing SatAM.
To this day, I still cannot believe they canceled SatAM for Power Rangers.
Yeah, it sucks when sucky show stay alive when shows like Sonic SatAM don’t even see a 2nd season.
