I’ve had a lot of experience jumping from one life ambition to another, and ultimately I’m beginning to find that just plain commitment is vastly underrated.
Nothing will be perfect. There’s always some idea you could be doing something else. At some point you’ve got to just stick with something even when you want to quit.
Zephyr Breeze is what happens when you don’t. So, even when you do get a mark, you still have to act it out and it’s not always so confining. I mean, a lot of marks are rather ambiguous.
And honestly, they probably act more as a foundation and lighthouse for your identity and purpose in a storm-tossed life. A promise that you have something the world needs if only you’ll act on it. And a promise of a place in it that you’ll find fulfilling.

I know, what I’m saying is they aren’t “stuck” together as from what I’ve seen cutie marks don’t actually contradict the will of their host, only assist it

No I’m complaining about the part where the three of them are stuck together because of their cutie marks. It should also be known that I’m not up to date on the episodes though

I wish I saw this at the time, but I wouldn’t have anyway because for all of the shit they made us go through to wait, they came out absolutely hideous.
But the main reason they did what they did is probably because this way they’re still connected.
I think a five year old could have designed better cutie marks, but even so - imagine being an adult now, and being stuck still doing whatever you and your 3rd grade friends used to do because fate bound you together so you’re in your 20’s or 30’s still making shit lemonade and selling your mom’s lemon bars while also having your own actual career that you enjoy and make money with on the side. Yikes.
Granted, a scooter would’ve probably been more fitting than wings (in fact having an in-laid wing inside a larger one is almost like, “haha, your wings are small!”), but at least Sweetie Belle’s has a music note, which is pretty great.
But the main reason they did what they did is probably because this way they’re still connected.

In hindsight. Meeseeks would of actually given them the cutie marks they were meant to have in Season 1 back when they had individual talents pointing to their true callings instead of what the CMC ended up with.

Well, they could make the “take all the strokes off Jerry’s game” argument, but it’s hard to justify how killing the CMC would get them their cutie marks.
…Unless like, if a blank-flank dies they get a skull and crossbones cutie mark or something :q

I don’t think cutie marks “force” individuals down certain paths as much as help them go down the path they want to go down
