I really like the idea of Flash taking Sunset out flying. Especially after her being reformed, and trying to trust people, and then Flash takes her flying and drops her on a cloud or something. ^^
Problem: Sunset can’t walk on clouds without an enchantment. She’s certainly powerful enough to cast that enchantment, but she might not have it active, and it’s hard to think of such utilitarian things while plummeting to your death.

Eh, I dunno how it would have ended, because it would have begun with Celestia showing up to apologize…because H!Sunset had been locked away in an institution for A: Pony!Sunset’s crimes prior to going through the mirror(this was based on the prequel in the comics) and B:Having an uncontrolled magic surge upon ‘returning’ that caused even more damage/injuries(the surge being a result of a panic attack by being kidnapped by ‘herself,’ getting shoved through a magic portal, and being turned into a unicorn with powers she had no idea how to control).
However, I didn’t like the idea of Celestia having kept H!Sunset locked up all this time and only just figuring out the truth because of P!Sunset’s theft of the EoM, and never bothered to figure out how to work it better for a story.
However, if someone else wants to take this premise and run with it, go ahead. Like I said, not enough stories about H!Sunset out there.

Really though, I had a fic idea sorta like this, where, while Twilight’s off getting the Element of Magic back from Sunset Shimmer…Celestia makes a quick trip back to Canterlot to have a talk with the other Sunset who’s been trapped in Equestria.
Also I’m kinda disappointed that I’ve only ever seen ONE bit of fanwork to touch on what happened to Human!Sunset, cause it’s a question that needs answering.

Heh, that would make an interesting twist. Flash can’t date Twilight because he’s already dating Sunset…the Sunset from the human world, who Pony!Sunset shoved into Equestria to take her place.

Problem: Unicorns can’t sit on, stand on, or otherwise have their weight be ed by clouds without enchanting themselves beforehand. Something tells me that Sunset might not have those enchantments applied at the moment…
