At the time, the police never considered the animatronic suits were where the bodies were. To them, the ‘killer’ either stashed or buried the bodies somewhere else. And sometime afterwards, Fazbear management found the bodies and secretly had them moved so not to attract anymore bad press. But they never cared about cleaning the suits to get rid of the decomp smell as they were known to be cheap with the budget.

Actually, they did catch the guy, but they never did find the victims bodies. The game takes place long after that. The security guy’s job is to keep the animatronics IN the pizzaria.

Honestly with the establishment’s history, I’m amazed that security isn’t given any sort of sidearm to defend themselves with. I know that would destroy the gameplay design and it’s intent but still.

Why would you feel bad about the robots likely getting destroyed from that? Considering the crap they try to do to you and what they’ve done to previous security guards, I say good riddance.

Also that in the near future between a week and 2 months the pizzeria is supposed to be torn down and replaced by something else entirely. Though I do feel bad that the robots are probably gonna get trash compacted, I will gladly help in dismantling the establishment

The real reason you’re there is actually answered by observing the background for a little. In one of the hallways it explains the history and future of the restaurant. Apparently there was a “man” dressed as a bear has been luring kids into the pizzeria and killing them(I can only assume that’s why you’re there. Just to catch the criminal) during the 5 weeks when you’re the security guard Freddys apparently lost a huge lawsuit because a group of parents noticed that the robots had stains and that they also reek like dead bodies.

Is that what that pay check at the end of night 5 is worth? @ 5 6-hour nights coming to 30 hours that’s $4 dollars an hour. Sue the pants off them.
Why would they need security in that place anyway? Anyone trying to break in gonna get their shit rocked. Maybe they just needed a piece of meat to distract them from getting out of the building.
