The Abridged series pretty much confirmed it with how shy he was and he apparently wasn’t mind controlled. Up until Vegeta acted like a jackass repeatedly yelling Kakarot.

And Yeah the whole Saddle Ranger is a major contribute to Flutters being my Broly (plus Brolly subdued personality under the mind control band matches flutter-shy’s meekness)

Actually they were born on the same day, and If i’m not mistaken a day or so later…..Freeza blew up Vegeta, the planet, not the king or his son.
At one point, you can’t blame him. Would you not snap if you had to deal with someone crying next to you for the entirety of your infancy without stopping?
