“not clear where the wings connect”
talking like anything like this exists in nature anyway to get a concrete idea from
“too many lines on the hair”
Well, that’s, just, like, your opinion, man.
“horn not pointing the right way”
What? Are you sure?
“the background is simple”
So?
“the sky is missing”
Can you say “artistic choice”? Also, this is an anthro pony with tattoos showing through its fur. Get your priorities straight.
“still afraid to draw hands”
UM. 1) Why would there be hands in this picture? Seriously, they’d be way outside the frame. 2) Have you even tried to draw hands? 3) Why would you even assume that??? Look at the composition and framing here. Hands have no place in this picture. And that’s a pretty obnoxious assumption to make. “Oh, this picture doesn’t have hands where they’d be out-of-place, so the artist must be totally inept at and even afraid of drawing hands.”
eh, the tattoo is nice, but the pose is sort of stock. her head’s too small even for an furry, and it’s not entirely clear where her wings even connect. they look like an afterthought. the hair is gorgeous, though a little too much lines in the shaded part. the horn isn’t pointing the same way as her forehead. looks like it is sticking out of her off-kilter. at least there is a background, but it’s pretty simple, and the sky is missing
Nope, don’t see it. The only bulge I see looks like it belongs to the blanket thing covering her.
What? It’s right there. See there on the left? That bulge under the dress?
But other than that, pretty epic.
actually I think I can kind of see where he’s coming from with this one. The horn sorta kinda seems to be at a slightly different angel than her face
but it’s really freaking minor and easily ignorable.
In short, 0/10 would not critique (!) again.
>draw anthro ponies
>still afraid to draw hands
well it’s been some time since i’ve been seriously depressed so i guess i was due anyway
Hah! I thought the same thing.
