Plus, I can barely see their toes in the first picture, even Fluttershy’s feet are too damn bright, I try lowering the brightness to examine it!

The only problem with the artwork in the movie itself is, they can’t be bothered to draw feet that are shaped like, well, like FEET. They just drew a bunch of big flat slabs on the end of the girls’ legs, also with absolutely no sign of any ankles.

^ Like they said. As much as I love those sexy sandals, sandals with a thong strap going between the two don’t work with socks, stocks, tights, etc unless they are made with a split between the big and second toes.
These stockings would quickly split because of that toe strap and then they’d be useless. A single, straight strap across the toes would be much better instead. :)
Oh my god, those sandals are NOT supposed to be worn with nylons, are you crazy? Unless you found fishnet tabis, you’re gonna have a pair of legwarmers within five minutes. Is this a sexy-dad-wearing-sandals-with-socks costume? Also she really needs toenails.
