Why does it feel like this fandom is heading into it’s “Late Antiquity” era when it is facing increased troll incursions like how the Western Roman Empire was faced with constant barbarian invasions during the last centuries of its existence?

Why is it whenever one, or a few bronies act like jerks, suddenly somebody has to always say something along the lines of, “all bronies are the scum of the earth?” Especially, by somebody who is on a brony/pony site, and possibly a fan of the same show bronies like, making them no different/better then a brony?
News flash people, if you are a MLP:FiM fan who refuses to call themselves a “brony,” that’s perfectly fine… Unless you think that somehow makes you a “better fan” then all the bronies somehow.
If anything is truely wrong with the brony/MLP fandom it’s this “anti-brony elitism.”

Yeah, so why ask people to behave decently and chastise them when they don’t, right? “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law” and all that jazz. At least we don’t judge other groups by the actions of individuals within it.
Gee, Final Draft gets thrown out of a convention that’s basically run by Horse News (an organisation with a huge hate-boner for EFN) amidst crazy accusations that don’t jibe with his previously (and continued) amicable relationship with the show VAs. It’s so difficult to figure out what happened there…

Final Draft kept harassing Ashleigh Ball (VA of AJ/RD) for an interview, despite the agreement that there would be no interview, and got kicked out of BABScon as the result.
Honestly, I’m pretty sure everyone else who was part of the EFN crew hated Final Draft as much as the rest of the fandom. I’ve seen stuff from Nash in other places, and he doesn’t seem like too bad a guy…
