Huh, I’m kinda surprised the Tatzelwurm, Cragadile, Vampire Fruit Bats, Chimera sisters and Orthros aren’t here. Past everypony season posters showed the monsters as well.

Carrot Top/Daisy-style blue maned pony behind Maud. Only learned her name from searching the wiki at the time I tagged her in this image, but she probably didn’t even have a fan-name during the time a lot of the images that’d contain her on here were ed, so I figure she has numerous untagged appearances that way.

At first I thought you meant one of the Cloudsdale team crew that actually has an even closer resemblance to Whooves (depending how you put it) as that one actually has identical RGBs for the coat, mane, and eyes, but was confused about the speaking role you mentioned.
Then I realized you meant Crescent Moon (or Pony #1 in the credits).
Yeah, he’s not here either, but then again neither are any other of the usual incidental ponies to name a few, like Noteworthy, Lemon Hearts, Dizzy Twister/Orange Swirl, or Crystal Ponies like Castle/Bright Smile and Paradise (when the third one that spoke in the same scene is here), or even Thunderlane (when not Blossomforth Helia is present, also from the same scenes), who all had their own speaking roles etc. etc., basically of them it was just the background six, albeit unfortunately expected with them being fan-favorites, but I’d happily it to bias.
I think there’s a wide enough understanding that there’s a lot more to be desired as far as appearances, whether they’re actual ponies or not as @Background Pony #E79D noted.
Time/budget? Oh well, we can’t have everything. =p
Looks like Doctor Whooves isn’t relevant anymore. Even his Rainbow Falls clone that isn’t really Doctor Whooves isn’t here and that guy had a speaking part.

Evidence that the fandom’s dying: a pony as cute and distinctive as Air Way has only about a dozen different pieces of fan art so far (counting the dozen or so variations of that one humanized drawing as one piece). Thanks for IDing her for me!

I can’t say I’ve ever seen the first one before, but the second one is Air Way, probably named per >>541294, but also appears in Leap of Faith among the sick ponies. She otherwise resembles Allie Way both in name and build, I guess.
Definite pro-pony bias at work: no Ahuizotl, no chimera (is there a name for her/them?), no griffons. Aside from that, and the lack of characters from “Power Ponies” and some later episodes, it’s pretty complete. Granted, I’m just happy to see Prim Hemline, Zippoorwhill, Goldie Delicious, and Claude (with puppets!).
Also, I feel I should know them, but who are (a) the pony between Trenderhoof and Derpy and (b) the panicked-looking pony just below the mare with the ridiculous headdress?
