Just now noticed the proximity of Sweetcream Scoops to Big Macintosh. I’ve got some shipping to do! Now if they just bring back Fleetfoot and Tealove in the mix, I would out in mouth foam from the mass shipping that would follow.
I guess considering the very title of the comic is called ‘Roots of the Problem’, I suppose this story revolves around why the Everfree Forest is so out of control when unchecked to begin with. Even without Discord’s interference, the tree of harmony was the only thing keeping the forest from spreading. Even with the elements removed, even Discord miscalculated how long it would take to overcome the tree.
“control and contain all that grows here” I believe how Celestia put it.
However, the Rainbow of Light has been released, which was the final ‘seed’ the Tree had to offer. So I imagine it doesn’t have that much power left. Which means that they might have to research into the origins and curse of the Everfree Forest….I’m looking foreword to this :D
Hmm, now that I think about it, exploring the out-of-control nature of the Everfree forest via an episode would of been nearly impossible to do, since in video format, it would feel too similar to PTS, which only focused on Discord making an old problem worse and never explained that old problem.

it’s too bad this artist is so skilled. the plot of these comics just ruins all that gorgeous scenery, facial expressions, use of negative space and three dimensionality.

Here I am on Derpibooru, and you guys are discussing the merits of the comic and whether it’ good or not, which writers are good and such…yet on Equestria Daily, they are all making tentacle jokes.

Surprisingly, there wasn’t much drama over the “Rarity & Babs” issue, so maybe there’s still hope for the series.
Oh, that’s because that comic was surprisingly good, and a solid proof that at least Garbowska pays attention to the negative criticism to know what’s she doing wrong and apply herself to fix it.
And boy, she has improved a lot.

From what I saw of it, it looked cute, my only critique about it was, I’m not to big a fan of the artist of that issue, Agnes Garbowska. (She’s not bad some of her style is cute, and some of her art is good, though her ponies look better when seen from the front, then the sides usually.)

Yeah, it looks like her stripes were inked in black by Andy Price instead of colored in later.
He did this once in the Big Mac arc when her image was smaller, just like on this page.
