M. A. Larson confirmed he had Las Vegas in mind when he dropped the name “Las Pegasus” in “It’s About Time”; it looks like he’s deleted the original tweet, but it’s archived at the MLP Wiki. If you do a search for “Las Vegas” at that wiki, it should be pretty easy to find the appropriate citation, which links to a screencap of his tweet.
