It’s ridiculous that this is even an issue, Derpy, or Ditzy, implies exactly that. She’s a klutz. Clumsy. Derpy! It’s not making fun of, or giving disabled persons a bad name.

We can’t let Derpy get binned. She represents a LOT in the Brony community. Without us, there really is no Derpy. We created that name, we gave her character, we breathed life into her. We directly inspired her creation. Are we really going to let her go? Are we going to let the only symbol of connection between fandom and show be shot down like this? She is the gateway that connects us little people to those who work on the show personally. We’re all one big community, like a family. We can’t lose one of our own.

We’ll never let it happen.
