Lyric Melody? Why not Song Sound or Note Quaver or even Instrumenstruation?! This is meant to be a name that stays with the character forever! It’s not “say the first two words that pop into your head”.
Assuming it’s not used yet without me realising, I’d name the next music pony we find “Tempony”. Tempo Pony. Maybe not a great name, but better than quite a few.
