I’m not so sure; ponies just seem more physical in general with their friends than humans; with push, smack, and prod their friends all the time both with and without magic. when Rarity smacked Twilight across the room with her rump, and no one cared?
Actually come to think of it, I don’t really ship either of them with anyone that I can think of off the top of my head. Mostly because I see AJ as waifu material and Dash as an annoying egomaniac.
