Might be. One wonders, though, if this was set up to show the opposite side of the scale, just as the Dazzlings and Starlight Glimmer are the opposite figureheads. Equal Town: Everypony has the exact same amount of goods, and doesn’t try to get any more or to “rise above the equal stations of others”. Nopony is greedy, and they’re all miserable from trying to keep from being themselves. Griffonstone: Everybody is poor, but desperately trying to get more money. They’re bitter, selfish, greedy, and miserable because they can’t work together since they put their own needs before anyone else’s, blaming their own failures on a convenient excuse.
