That battle was definitely one of my favorite. Especially when Murtagh and Thorn notice that they changed, and thus weren’t in Galbatorix’s control anymore.

I, for one, was completely surprised by how Paolini chose to end the book. Sure, some things are prophecies and such that come true, but the final battle was unpredictable.

I actually still haven’t finished Inheritance. And I didn’t lose interest or anything, I just never got around to it. I still have it around and I’ll probably read it sometime soon.
