But Twilight can’t straight up punch Tirek? Also, I guess it was a good thing Rainbow didn’t get into the wedding since she certainly would have coldcocked Matilda’s friend without waiting for an explanation.
I think this is “okay” for punching because of a couple reasons. First, RD’s punches use “flashes” to show her hits connecting, which somewhat censors her punches by masking the impacts with visual effects, and her attacks in the second half are essentially censored by whiting the screen out for the connecting of the hits.
the second reason is that this scene is comedic, while Tirek’s fight was dead serious, which makes the violence more “okay’ since it has a more slapstick feel to it simply due to the tone.

My headcanon is that, rather than racism, it’s a obsession for fighting. Whether in a bar fight, in a ring, in a battle, or in a war, she loves to fight. She comes from a long line of warriors, officers and soldiers in Equestria’s military that participated in key battles in Equestria’s history and shared the same trait, dating back to Commander Hurricane during the founding of Equestria.

Agreed. A guy with a foot fetish wouldn’t have a coherent and consistent response anyways.
She needs a sensitivity training course.
I don’t need a reason.
Now now, soul sucking can’t be the reason BECAUSE YOU CLEARLY HAVE NO SOUL TO SUCK.
I’m with Rainbow horse on this one. Fightings fucking awesome.
What can I say? I just don’t like those soul sucking buggers.
Sorry meant to put this image on that post but my phone bugged out

I kinda saw it as racism too, but obsession for fighting isn’t a whole lot better.

Yeah, no, sorry, misunderstood. :p
Oh, yes, thank ye.
@Vaidelot
Oh, yeah, no, the changeling part was brief. Basically this scene and a few seconds more.
I meant the part with changelings. The entire episode surely isn’t about one big changeling dream, no?
Because then I would have written it ^^
