@Revenant Wings
I’ve seen a few episodes of it, but I haven’t been keeping up on it regularly. I will it though, I loved watching Ross, Barry, and Brian fight that goo monster in the lake. Seeing them try to aim a bow while being a tower of Links was pretty great.
Also, I did love Ross and Barry’s Undertale playthrough. One misgiving I had was, at the end, they mentioned how they might do a Genocide Run later on… and given how attached I saw them get with all of the characters, I kind of don’t want them to do it. I don’t want to imagine Ross crying when Papyrus still offers his friendship to them even after they killed him. Papyrus is hands-down Ross’s favorite character and I just have a sinking feeling that the kindhearted skellington’s death scene would really hurt him.
Well, plus, let’s all it it here… I dunno if Ross or Barry could possibly beat Sans. There would have to be a LOT of off-screen practicing, yo.
@Revenant Wings
…though, I must it Undertale with Barry and Ross is probably my favorite series so far, which compared with TFH right behind it makes TFH pale in comparison.
@Joseph Raszagal
Yeah, the game doesn’t look like it would appeal to me, but TFH with him, Barry, and Ross is extremely amusing just in the execution. Barry is the straight man and a total snarker at the other two with some of the driest humor I’ve seen from him yet, Ross is at least trying in some cases but still provides moments where the others go “Goddamit, Ross”, and Brian - oh, excuse me, he’s going by “Spyyyder” in the playthrough - will spout off extremely technical and detailed explanations of physics concepts while being almost totally inept at the game. So the game doesn’t look that interesting, but the commentary that goes on is often hilarious.
@Revenant Wings
I haven’t gotten around to watching the newest one yet; stuff to do and fanfics to write all that jazz.
Plus, I’m not really fond of that game. No hate towards the Zelda franchise, but that’s just not the Zelda game for me.
I did watch the elevator one though (lookit all that intel he’s stealin’!) and that was fun. Brian still pretty much acted like he was the greatest being that exists on Planet Earth, which I loved lol.
Arin: The Leader / The Rager
Danny: The Hotness
Jon: The Boisterous One
Ross: The Screw-Up
Barry: The Omniscient
Suzy: The Lion Queen
Kevin: The Cuteness
Brian: The Endless Sarcasm
Graham: The Deadpan Lawyer
To me, there’s reasons to love all of them. If I had to pick a weakest link, I guess it’s that I don’t usually find Suzy that funny, but she makes up for it a lot in Table Flip, having really good chemistry with Barry.
@CaptainGrumpy @Artistic Fox
Okay just watched 11 episodes where I started hating Ross, so maybe I just haven’t watched enough. Holy shit is he annoying.
@joand
Here’s the flaw in your argument: Steam Train would have happened anyway. It was already in planning before Jon left, but simply didn’t come to fruition until afterwards. Ross himself itted that Steam Train came on at a bad time and that it should have been thought through more. So there’s the addition of Ross even if Jon left. Most of the new entrants have been through Stream Train/Rolled, so Suzy and Barry would likely have appeared as commentators eventually. And then you have Grumpcade which also frequently features Ross, coupled with Danny frequently doing double duty on GG and ST and it probably would have gone there anyways.
I like it. While two people have a connection, a group of people makes it more casual and watchable for me.
, the difference between new and old Game Grumps isn’t Jon or Danny. It’s Jon or Danny, Ross, Suzy, Barry, Markiplyer, The Completionist, ProJared, and many many more.
To some, that may sound like a plus, but, to me, Game Grumps meant a relationship between two cool people you got to be a part of and experience, not an excuse to see every Tom, Dick, and Harry that works for Polaris play vidja.
It’s so unfocused now. It’s like Animes or Videogames that go on for too long and have too many characters.
I guess they didn’t think that Arin and Danny’s chemistry could really carry a channel like Jon and Arin could.
I honestly think that the two ‘Not-So-Grumps’ can be compared because during their time at Game Grumps their comedy was different. Jontron acted as a leader and was able to make clever and funny remarks, freak outs and reactions. Danny Sexbang on the other hand is good at telling hilarious stories whether they be fake like how they called Bill Nye or real such as his dad’s voicemail or with how there are so many jokes about Dan being Jewish
Danny > Jon. I think Danny is more interesting than Jontron, and Jontron has more video game knowledge. Of course it’s the entertainment that matters most, so he was better in Arin’s mind than Jon and Jon’s interfering dedication to his channel. I like Ross though, so I’m weird I guess.
These days the best combination of Grumps has been Suzy and Barry, because they’re the only ones who seem to be capable of being both funny and not utterly trash at the game they’re playing at the same time.
Arin and Dan are usually funny together, but it is absolutely painful sometimes watching them routinely fail absurdly simple tasks over and over again.
I think Danny is just better at improvisation. Jon is funnier in scripted format, and I’m not saying he didn’t have his moments in Game Grumps, but Danny seems funnier to me.
I probably like Jontron more than Game Grumps though. Jon’s such a likable personality (Danny’s too, they’re both just adorable!)
I find Danny’s dynamics with Arin are far more varied and interesting as opposed to Jon’s. Arin has a different mindset depending on the game he’s playing, and Danny provides consistency, as well as some interesting stories that can fill the gaps in the gameplay. Also, I love his songs. “Ooh girl! Let me stick my d**k inside your woooorld!”
Same ,

Where would you place Ninja Brian after the current events of Tri Force Heroes?

Go away Ross
Danny and Arin = Roommates
Imo, both of them are good but i prefer Jon more. :3c
God damn it Ross!
Jon inferior (except when it’s Jontron)
Arin and Dan are usually funny together, but it is absolutely painful sometimes watching them routinely fail absurdly simple tasks over and over again.
