And please : Spike’s fire sends paper to Celestia.
Paper is made out of wood.
Therefor, Spike’s fire sends wood to Celestia.
On a more serious note I don’t understand why people wanted Spike to just set the Timberwolves on fire. After all, wood doesn’t exactly burn fast; so if he lit a Timberwolf up he would have been dealing with a creature flailing around unpredictably. And during both encounters he was in the middle of (or right next to) a woodland area; so lighting a Timberwolf up would have been a good way to start a forest fire.
Danke.

I know a certain hyena that would love to burn everything to the ground.

Not if the wood is humid.
