A Cinccino with technician instead of skill link with three moves that involve multiple hits, a Technician Persian with only fury swipes benefitting it, and a Sableye without fake out and only one stab? Rarity seems to have gotten the short end of the stick with pokes. I can understand the dazzling gleam and power gem but three pokemon who have power gem is just kinda pushing it. Carbink could drop her power gem for something like stealth rocks or safeguard to help the other team coverage against status effects.
Every other pony has a status move that is useful and unique to their pokemons where as Rarity gets captivate. Literally only useful against Twilight’s team and Trixie’s team. If the Sableye was made better it could almost sweep both Trixie and Twilight. The key word being almost. They both have counters against her and Mega Sableye is slow as molasses without a trick room . However Applejack’s team seems to trump everything Rarity can throw. But that’s just my take on the team. Cinccino is the only one I would really ever use in game.
@op-is-a-duck
That’s the thing: You can only transfer the Pokemon to Gen 6, not the item it’s holding. Why do you think Gamefreak went to the trouble of hiding both the adamant, lustrous and griseous orbs and the Arceus plates in X & Y? Because you couldn’t transfer your Dialga, Palkia, Giratina or Arceus holding those items, or any item at all. That’s the same for regular Pokemon. Ergo, you can’t transfer a Pokemon with a type gem. Ergo, Rarity hacked in order to get the Ghost, Grass and Water gems.
@RIG
Gamefreak created a Fairy Gem to correspond with the Fairy Type (obviously). In spite of this, all other Gems except from the Normal Gem were removed. (For some reason)
She hacked to get those elemental Gems. The only Elemental Gem to appear in Generation 6 (Besides the Fairy Gem which is the reason why all other Gems DON’T appear) is the Normal Gem. Ergo, she used cheats in order to get the Water, Grass and Ghost Gems.

They’re all still in game, but only receivable if you transfer from Gen 5

what? the fairy gem (which i don’t have) is the reason? how?
Ah yes, that, too.
you forgot volcarona both Shimmer and Celestia has it
Ah yes. Their status gives them immunity…
I broke the “no dups” rule for Celestia and Luna, because they can do what they want, who’s gonna question them?
And both Celestia and Trixie have Espeon.
Cadence has Gardevoir
@Japanese Teeth
Maybe it’s for the purpose of Gothitelle’s appearance. Why not a Gardevoir?
Generosity! :U
Yeah, I’d swap it out for a Frosslass or something. More elegant or whatever.
Also, I think Opal resembles a Purugly more than a Persian. :p
How so?
better then most of the other cards which make no sense.
Unless you play on using them for Twilight as “Spike” of course.
