I guess that's fair. I definitely consider myself a gamer, though; It's definitely an important hobby to me that I'm really ionate about. And I _*still_* don't agree with Gamergate as movement, as I feel it has little to do with so-called "ethics in games journalism." Go to KotakuInAction and you'll find threads more concerned that some games have too many women in them, or just general threads complaining about liberals, instead of actually focusing on issues like integrity in gaming journalism - i.e., the thing the movement supposedly is about.
 
And a lot of gamers - people who really are ionate about gaming, real active fans - just don't have any connection to that cause. I definitely don't.
