since superman is a teen, it’s likely a reference to ‘age of extinction’ hitting it big in china (for it’s reputation of piracy, if a movie hits big in china, then it really means BIG).
 
question:  
if waspinator was a female but everything happens the way it happened (starscream possession, universe hating waspinator) would her fate be tragic instead of funny?

I get what it was likely referencing with the Mechabat, I’m confused by who they all are, other then Chinese Superman, I had seen him before.

i like how on the outside they’re literally made to be KOs (except for wonder woman) but if you get to know them, they are their own characters.

Has Starscream not learned that once he starts getting smug, that’s when things go disastrously wrong for him?

anyone know where to look for g1 deathsaurus’ trademark stamp (made in japan, 19XX like that)? saw a loose deathsaurus at a shop and it looks authentic but wasn’t sure because i can’t find the stamp.
 
if it’s in the tail-shield, then i’m screwed (missing it’s weapon, breasts and tail-shield). not really a big fan of the toy and character (i like the character but not enough to impulse buy the toy) but for it’s price, it’s cheap ($6 more or less when converted from pesos).

I imagine that NERV or something reverse engineered prime’s transforming system after his first death, and only really got it functional after his second one
 
They give it to Shinji and have him test it out sometime before his second revival
 
I imagine that Galvatron stumbles across the scene with Sixshot and goes completely mental at Prime’s visage

And Armada back into the day. Were those series any good or well received by fans ? :o

I think people still the 2001 RID pretty fondly. I personally preferred Car Robots, but that’s because I’m into Japanese culture and stuff (plus, that’s the series I watched first).
 
Armada was… disappointing, I . I mean, I being pumped for a brand new Transformers series with a new mythology (i.e. not based on G1) and stuff. Armada wasn’t bad and some of the twists and turns like Starscream switching sides purely out of spite and his gallant death challenging Unicron were awesome.
 
But overall it just didn’t catch my attention the way Prime or Beast Wars did. That whole, “Awww, man! Now I gotta wait till next week for a new episode?!” feeling just wasn’t there.

That reminds me, I need to look up a sub for Car Robots.  
I kind of liked the cheesiness of the dub, it was kind of stupid at time but I wonder of that was from how they from the dub work alone or if it was just somthing that doesn’t translate well.  
But other things where clearly the dub being cheesy.

Don’t forget that RiD aired in 2001, and after 09/11 a lot of stuff had to be changed. Like bombs being turned into deadly gas canisters, or buildings collapsing being omitted.
 
But yeah, stuff that doesn’t translate well also came into it.

Well it wouldn’t literally be Prime’s corpse, but it would be a spitting image.
 
But yeah the Prime replica probably doesn’t have an AT Field to help Shinji like his last encounters with the cons

One episode, “Sky-Byte Saves the Day”, ended up not even getting aired in the US due to a tower with civilians trapped inside being a big part of the plot. Though it WAS dubbed and released on the UK DVD box sets (Yes, I said “sets”, because some how the UK got SEVERAL DVD box sets releases of the series even though the US has never had any).
 
Especially since it kind of led to some of Sky-Byte’s overall character development.
 
They also cut the part about Devil Gigatron (or whatever Galvatron was called in Car Robots) specifically draining the energy of the kids he was holding hostage in the final arc in the dub.

If I right, that episode also involved said tower toppling over with the civilians still inside, which probably would not have gone over well. Those changes were understandable at the time, you know? Like Marvel and Netflix pulling the Punisher because they knew that it’d be wildly inappropriate to market a gun-toting vigilante right after what happened in Vegas.
 
That Devil Gigatron thing was weird, though. Were they worried traumatised kids would be further traumatised by the possibility that a crazy alien robot warlord would try to suck away their energy?

i misaligned the assembly of the helmet and the cumulative attempts to take it off/align it properly damaged the inner head that it’s practically unusable.
 
parts won’t stay connected, should i just super glue the parts that don’t move?

I imagine the early cons would be no match for the EVAs

the helmet won’t snap on and when it did, the inner head was misaligned. all attempts to fix it resulted in a busted inner head so i swapped the blind bag vehicon head for it.

How do you think they’d handle beast wars II in a SRW?
