As the true Dragonlord, Spike ushers in a new era between Equestria and the Dragonlands by using the Bloodstone Scepter to make female dragons more attractive and male dragons more strong and powerful.
Garble becomes Spike’s right-hand dragon to help him bring peace and negotiations with the other kingdoms.
Spike returns to the Dragonlands to retake what was rightfully his; the Bloodstone Scepter and his rightful place as the Dragonlord.
As Spike pretended to ask Ember for help, he betrays her, and becomes the Dragonlord. With Ember, now, fallen Spike decrees that all female dragons are now slaves to the male dragons and with the help of his right-hand dragon Garble, Spike was able to make the kingdom into a maledom society.
As news of the new Dragonlord spread throughout Equestria; Dainn and Spike become powerful allies, making their kingdoms into one powerful kingdom; build on slavery and male domination.

Sorry, haven’t checked in almost a day, even though I knew there was likely responses made since then… I didn’t expect you to be one of them! XD
Anyway, I did have that belief myself for lust-induced greed being the cause of his “change”, even if part of that may’ve been a way-old pic of Smudge Proof’s >>760192 that was for a fictional setting of the downfall of the males ruling over females, or others saying the same thing before that. It’s been so long, I don’t myself…
Anyway, I’m not mad at you for cancelling, even if I never saw that yours and the story with Cadence were cancelled until now (and I just checked FoE’s Fimfiction group yesterday, although I didn’t click on either story of those I did then, even if only yours is marked as cancelled). Until hearing it had been likely cancelled, I just had hope that it would be continued one of these days, to see where it was going… even if Twilight’s long been my favorite character, not just cause she was the main central character in the show, but because I feel she’s the closest to myself in of character. But I know this is an alternate setting and all that, so it doesn’t bother me like it should… well, too much anyways.

Well, to be clear, I sort of meant a different idea with Twilight and something that might’ve ended up with her changing ownership (at least, when she’s not requested by someone else, being a government-owned female) to her brother, even if that was sort of to appeal to my incest fetish. And the fact that I didn’t think I’d see it in the Twilight Falls story, given how the confrontation between corrupted Shining and uncorrupted Twilight went. And the small amount of stuff that dabbles in incest in this setting, at least that I’ve seen… some of which is Twilight with her father Night Light, but nothing directly with the two siblings.
Of course, I didn’t have a separate idea involving Ember, just something for that which involved maybe (again, after Ember’s appearance in the show, as this was over a year and a half ago I had the idea and did a small writing on it, plus I had not had everything mapped out but was just thinking some other red-collared mare) where she was given to Spike to replace Twilight. But I digress… especially when it’s been a long time since I had the desire to write anything consistently, despite all these MLP/Pokémon/other ideas I’ve gotten time and again from whatever inspired me to come up with such ideas in the first place. ;(

Well good thing I never tell people to stop trying. I just tell them to “try harder”, because FoE has potential to be a decent dark setting. It’s just the general laziness of the creators that bog it down. Now there are some of the creators that are perfectly fine. Docmad is fine. Wishy is fine. Ponk is fine. SlashySmiles is fine. In fac, I have little issue outside of the “couldn’t you have done better” complaint I have with it. If you want my personal opinion (and I know you don’t, but I’ll post it anyways) The only people I have real issue with, and I think do only damage to the setting, are Eggonaught, because he’s a bit of a jerk and tends to want to starts stuff and push people away from enjoying the setting, Twipet, because she would rather the setting revolve around her and what she wants to do with it (which is usually terrible suggestions and her own OCs that no one cares about), and NCN, because he refuses to let the setting grow in any manner, meaningful or otherwise, and acts like his setting is sacred, while not treating someone elses’ property with the same reverence. That, and he’s a terrible editor who can’t keep track of his own established canon. Aside for that, I like the themes and the general concept of FoE, but hate the half assed attempt at it, good art aside.

Oh yeah, that was very badly handled. The only way I could explain it is some kind of deep cover agents with pieces of that throne stone that Chrysalis had. I think that was what they were going for anyway but it was just poorly done.
However, it also shows the premise of something can be silly but the stories told within it can be interesting and meaningful. A lot of critics want to use is as a way to shut FoE down. Harassing new writers, tearing down everything and anything they attempt because “it’s all worthless, stop trying, you don’t really give a sh*t anyway” etc. That’s why I hate that argument sometimes.
That I agree with that, I think the major reason I pick on this is that it is very, very dark and dismantling the hell out of it’s premise and plot points makes me feel better about liking it.

Not that. How they caught all princesses including Flurry Heart, the Mane Six, Spike and Shining Armor, all at the same time, with Sunburst only having time to warn Thorax and nopony else, over a few days at most. That was beyond silly.
However, it also shows the premise of something can be silly but the stories told within it can be interesting and meaningful. A lot of critics want to use is as a way to shut FoE down. Pulled off the transformation? It did explain it, Changelings normally gathered love for Chrysalis and fed it to her. However this time around they used the stored love they had to do the same thing that Throax did when they saw him transform. Mind you the one thing they never did explain is why it only happened now and not forever ago, though you could infer that it was because Chrysalis kept them dependent on her from birth making it unlikely they would try it.

Until the series gives a convincing explanation for how regular changeling drones pulled all of that off, then yes, I am going to believe that. And I doubt it will.
I’ll probably never understand why some s continue to discuss and a series they obviously hate for over two, three years. The only reasons I can think of involve the aforementioned piss allegory on the other thread.

The question though still is “why”. Why would Rarity do any of this. Why wouldn’t she just tell her friends something strange is going on. Why would she do anything that would be potentially harmful to Spike? And why would Spike not tell Rarity that she’s acting weird when she does? Basically, all of this is “sake of the plot” stuff that doesn’t fit the characters in the slightest. Again, no offense, but in a story aspect, these shoehorned in contrivances are pretty lame.it reeks of “we couldn’t think of anything better” and “we just want our villains to win without explaining how they really could”. I’m not a pro writer or anything, but it feels boring and lazy.

It had to do with Rarity and her being given a ‘gift’ for him. Actually, maybe there was a crystal - I haven’t thought about it in a long while so I might have been wrong in my initial assessment. But I believe it was her basically lust-greeding Spike, as part of stealing the Elements. She would have been told it was reversible, regrettable but necessary, and so on. Part of the ‘Rarity is in way over her head’ aspect.

Though now hearing your version… I have to say that the crystal bit makes a bit more sense. At that point it seems like it could be plausible that in the short time of the caribou’s invasion, they could have somehow made a wish on a star and a fairy could have farted their plan into existence. But the idea that spike went from 0 to 12 in the time span he did in your story doesn’t make sense, and if it is just something that doesn’t involve direct mind control, then I see no reason why it would stick. I hate to say it, but this time Twipet’s version makes a little more sense than yours, no offense.
Yea, I stopped being comfortable writing in this universe. Especially after a particularly disturbing dream, which was where I went from ‘On hiatus but eventually meaning to finish’ to ‘Comfortable cancelling things’.
Though my original concept with Spike was that, as I recall, he was tricked into undergoing lust-focused greed growth, and it became more or less self-sustaining once he started fucking everything he could get his claws on.
There never was a shard of the Crystal Heart or anything like that, but I haven’t been involved in a long while and that may have changed.

Jeez, you replied fast! o.o Guess that’s why I couldn’t edit my freaking post, wanted to ask Rylasasin again why this pic is the only one that’s smaller than the others, since I recently saw two more edits were made… and both writers were chicks? Not that I’m saying they couldn’t have been, but I think that while I maybe knew at least one of them was (I believe Poprocks), it’s been a while since I learned of this, so I kinda forgot about it. XD
Anyway, that’s disappointing to hear, even if I barely read Fall of Cadence (as it’s spelled on Fimfiction, not that I checked before my last comment), but had pretty much read Twilight Falls… and wanted to see Twilight’s spiral from resisting to being Spike’s prized pet.
And that first one was just updated TODAY? I saw it earlier and read it (although I’ve kinda skipped two chapters, at least in start-to-finish reading, but I did read them both in some capacity with the fourth one being as well today, since I didn’t before cause I doubted it was what I thought from the title), but hadn’t seen the date earlier! XD
I would be interested to see that if it was a story, since as I said, I’ve kind of fantasized a bit previously about if Spike had Ember as a pet too (or possibly in place of Twilight, in a small what-if scenario where Twilight comes into different ownership later on something I don’t know if I’d ever write, canon or not, despite that I did a SMALL bit to it over a year and a half ago, before Ember was even introduced). I’m not sure why you doubt as a black collar, though… if it’d just be a short one or two chapter story, if she was a red collar. And I even doubt IF she was in a story, it’d be with Spike being her owner… if she wasn’t a government-property female.

Since I just saw two more edited versions have been submitted since this morning… o.o If you edited this one alone, just out of curiosity. While I know sometimes it happens with edits being made into a lower/higher res, I never can understand why that is. Even if it isn’t a major deal, but I myself find it weird and disappointing when that happens somehow, at least if it’s been made smaller.
