Visual description
A two- comic. In the first , Princess Celestia joyfully congratulates Twilight, It is implied that this is the moment she ascended to become a princess. “You’ve earned them, my student. And I couldn’t be prouder” she says.
The second is some time later. A grief-stricken Celestia stands over an unconscious Twilight as she is carried in a stretcher. Only her head – with her horn bloodied and bandaged – and a single bloodied horn are visible poking from a blanket which covers her body. Blood seeps through the blanket around the wing area, though. And a pool of blood, wings, and scattered feathers strewn about the floor paint a gruesome picture of Twilight caving under immense pressure and cutting off her own wings during a terrible breakdown. There are paramedics all around her but they’re blurry and unfocused. Celestia can only see her student, and in her, she sees her own failure to help and understand a pony she cared for so so much

Honestly, I think this is silly. Losing her wings won’t make her unicorn, like losing her horn won’t make her earth pony/pegasus. Twilight would try to find the magic way out first - by making her wings or herself disappear from everyone’s perception if it was that hard on her.

I don’t have a problem with that, I was just saying that so they could go see the video.

So? Other people can explore the idea too.
@Ponka-Pie
It’s already been touched upon. Look up “Celestia’s folly” on YouTube
