@Background Human
She’s not super op. There’s a card, vampire nighthawk, that is 2/3 with flying, lifelink, and death touch for only 3 mana. With some cards, 3 mama can get you quite a bit.
Isn’t there a creature in M14 that does exactly this and is RARE?

oh, wait, nvm. http://magiccards.info/m14/en/73.html
hexproof and pro-pone push it into Mythic territory… but unnecessary on her if you ask me
@Kanrabat
If that was all she did, yes she would not be overpowered. However she has protection from a creature type added along with her Hexproof. Immunity to target spells and effects, along with damage immunity to creatures of her type? For a cost of 3? 4 sure, but 3? I’d be willing to if target creature could not untap while she’s in play making a risk to use such a creature (or having the play use one of those ‘tap target creature’ cards blue decks may have.) but she already taps it.
This is of course taking into that there would be other Pony cards that have already been shown existing.
@TempiDrachen
Thanks for the analysis. I was looking at it from the standpoint of an MLP block, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t sound that bad.
“Comes into play” is an old term that has since been replaced by “enters the battlefield”. As for power, Button’s Mom’s effectiveness is highly dependent on how common ponies are in the current metagame. If nobody uses ponies then she’s just a 2/2 with hexproof for 3 but if almost all the creatures are ponies (say, if you’re playing Equestria block) then she’s a nearly unblockable 2/2 with hexproof who also paralyzes a creature for only 3. In other words, she seems like a pony hoser to me.
I have a nagging feeling that this thing is slightly OP for its cost, but that’s probably just me. It’s been a while since I followed the game, so I don’t know what you can get for 1UU these days. The only definite problem here is that it’s called “entering the battlefield” now, not “coming into play.”

Of course, she could be THE 50$ card to have in deck if you play PONY block.
Throw her in the real game however, and she’s just OK.

Nah, it’s perfect as is. Dont forget that she’s still a creature and she’s legendary.
All she do is paralize a creature. Calling this overpowered make you look like you’re from Ice Age or something.
With hexproof on it, it is a bit overpowered. If it was without, the card would be fine. Powerful, but still fine.
Oops, you’re right! Shoot. I can’t go back and change it now. :( Oh well.
Spending it well buddy, spending it well.
