@a6p
Yeah, plus P.T. doesn’t quite have as big a “cult-following” as P.P. does… She’s surprisingly quite good at getting people to feel sorry for her, even though she pretty much brings the trolling on herself with her DMW drama, and constantly bashing bronies, and such. (Even though, she likes/does all the same things they do… She even draws ’shipper fanart with G4-style ponies.)
@Drama King
Even if he was, he still seemed a bit conceited to me.
@PastaDerpPony
Are you certain that’s the case? Hasn’t PT essentially faded into obscurity while PP hasn’t quite so much? I don’t even what PT’s drama was all about.
@Drama King
I doubt that’s her honestly. If it was she’d be going off on how “misogynistic” all us “evil bronies” are, and such. (Though, let’s not talk about she who must not be named, ok?)
On record as saying that I am a Pegasister, and have not been offended by one damn thing in the fandom. Grossed out? Yes, Offended? No. That’s because I am not some drama seeking retard who feels they should be up in arms about a cartoon, or the fanmade things resulting from an “Entirely Fictional” cartoon. I am a huge fan of Molestia, I laugh so hard at some of the things (not all though because some of it is not as humorous and to be quite honest, some of it is a turn on). I saw the “Offensive” button mash cartoon and thought it was ok, niceish art.
Now, For people thinking he was cocky by stating that his stuff was better than fan made episodes, realize that he probably was not being serious and just trolling the retarded girl.
In fact, rereading the discussion it kinda makes Mayde look rather conceited saying his 2 minute-long Button Mash parody is better then those entire full fan-animations that MANY people worked hard on for an entire year…
Also, to say those other fan-animations are the “worst” things in the entire fandom, is rather insulting to all the people who worked hard on them… I don’t care what anyone thinks of “Double Rainboom,” I still enjoyed it, in spite of it’s flaws.
I don’t really know who this Purple is other than what I’ve read in the comments here, but if this isn’t taken out of context I’m afraid I’ll have to agree with her on this one.
When I saw the video I thought it was offensive, but I figured there’s probably worse out there and just kind of moved on. This guy’s reaction here really makes him look like a jerk though. Saying that it could have been worse, telling people it’s well-animated, and then pointing out just how much time you spent animating something that was pretty obviously going to offend people doesn’t help things, and bashing things other people made in an attempt to make himself look better is just a dick move, regardless of how you felt about Double Rainboom and/or Dusk’s Dawn. I’m also pretty sure that both of those projects took more than 40 hours to make and I know they were worked on by a lot more people working together than just one bored guy like this one was, so it’s not even a good defense.
I wonder what people think is worse: Rape, or murder.
Mister Davie doesn’t seem to get a lot of flack from the social justice crowd. Just the sad whiners who it to crying.
Then why didn’t they defend it with that? Even though it isn’t by much, “It was just a joke video” is much better a defense than “I could have made something nastier”.
@Background Pony #16A8
I don’t find it particularly entertaining in the least, but it’s really just a dumb gag video. Think of it in of South Park, and then just dismiss it as being equally stupid. That’s what I did.
I know it’s bad form to agree with PT on here….but….
It’s kinda hard for me to disagree with her here, on this occasion. Especially when the other guy says that the video he had made of a character raping his own mother could have been worse, and believes that it is a valid defense. It really, really isn’t.
“It’s now very common to hear people say, ‘I’m rather offended by that.’ As if that gives them certain rights. It’s actually nothing more… than a whine. ‘I find that offensive.’ It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. ‘I am offended by that.’ Well, so fucking what” - Stephen Fry
@JustSomeLurker
Some of the drama is funny, I it.
Some guy was spazzing out at me over the Sonic comic on Youtube recently. lol
(Let’s just say, he’s one of those Sonic fans who likes to complain about the games/comics all the time.)
@Beau Skunky
There’s infinitely worse things in the pokemon fandom, but the overwhelming majority actually mines it as a source of humor. Even if it was genuinely offensive, insane or ten kinds of disgusting / creepy.
Granted a lot of it is from Japan so most of the long-time fans have built-up a filter to their opinions and output, but still.
Ok, I just watched it, I have to say at least it didn’t “show” what was happening, so at least it’s not graphic. I don’t find it funny, but to each their own. As I said before, I don’t have any complaints. Just not my type of humor. Let’s leave it at that.
As Mayde (the maker of it) stated to P.T. it “could’ve been alot worse.” There’s fanart worse then that.
So did many others regardless of the hate it gets.

its a fact.
I personally think Mayde was joking around and trolling PT with his comments, and he was successful!
Successful Mayde is successful!

Oh, hello, PinkiePony!
Now, For people thinking he was cocky by stating that his stuff was better than fan made episodes, realize that he probably was not being serious and just trolling the retarded girl.
Y’know, when you put it that way, I’d have to agree with you.

Considering that Maybe has received numerous death threats, apparently murder is okie dokie with these people.
Mister Davie doesn’t seem to get a lot of flack from the social justice crowd. Just the sad whiners who it to crying.
because any rational and intelligent mind could already determine that.

Why do we pay attention to any drama? I guess we just seem to like watching shitstorms unfold.
