I really doubt they’d do the sins thing though, since there’s really no way for them to explore “lust” without treading into dangerous territory. There’s really a lot they can’t do for this very reason. It would be cool to get an episode that does explore and explain more about dragons though, as well as a little about Spike’s origins.
There’s a lot they can do with his character. Not only is he a pony-raised dragon, but a magic-hatched dragon, which again, allows them to do almost anything with him. Heck, they could even make it so his unusual hatching made him a magic dragon (assuming they don’t already exist in MLP) and even turn him into a one-time antagonist by making him lose control of his powers and becoming a giant, spell-casting behemoth who can only be stopped with another friendship lesson that reverts him to his normal self.

Well lets look at Spike as a character. He is a dragon, a rare species in Equestria. I myself have in role playing, text based mind you, been tinkering with ideas Spike. Like we know that dragons have a Greed thing, who’s to say that the other emotions don’t do something. Lust, Sloth, Gluttony, Envy, Pride, and the others. Then there is the question of how Celestia got a hold of the egg in the first place, how long she had it, the ramifications of having a Pony Raised Dragon. How will he by himself effect Equestira in the years to come. Is he royalty due to being brought up by a now Princess? Does this make Spike a Prince Spike, and perhaps boot Blueblood off his high horse. Will Spike become not only the first King of Equestria in the future, but the first Dragon King? Highly unlikely unless Spikelight becomes canon, which would open thousands of new paths for the character as a whole. This is only a tiny percentile of potential Spike as a character has, yet the Fandom as well as the developers neglect to peruse and develop him beyond what has been shown. They could go into Dragons as a whole in an episode, shed some light on them, but seems they only want to focus on Ponies and not give the other races a shot in the lime light.
Shrugs but really, I know its up to them to choose how they do the show, but it seems like a massive waste of a good character development to just not touch on the only non-pony in the group.

Two sides of the spectrum: Those who hate the writers for making non-ponies and/or male beings jerks/wusses/dorks/wankers/etc. and those who think they’re okay for kids’ show characters. :T

Agreed, its kind of pathetic that people show such blatant stupidity. There is so much potential for Spike and yet the Fandom continues to shun non pony characters. _

Yeah, they get dumber and dumber in their acts of trolling because those who can spot trolls are very resistant to their stupidity, if you will. XD

This Thing likes to pop up on Pics involving Spike and Rarity and Complain to high heaven about them. Though it appears to have gone dormant on less Sparity pictures out there these days.
