I was talking with Badumsquish and he was suggesting that maybe Grogar created these things, especially since they don’t look like “natural” monsters (like the sirens for example).
@SecretTitan
Ooh, that gives me an idea for G5 to have a bunch of giant monsters and robots living on a mountain or island in close proximity to G5 Ponytown, of which the mane cast visit regularly to have parties and ridiculous adventures and sentai cage matches, with the purpose of selling boy toys under the MLP license… Which sounds awful, but eh. XD
i guess how those creatures are going to be call:
*the red one: Insectodactile.
*the blue one: Amphilizard.
*the green one: Fishbug.
*the bird one: Flamingoduck.
*the brown one: Cavefrog.
*the fish one: Earthangler.
@thps48
Unicornia might be based on medieval . While Earth Pony state is probably more of a British or Germanic influence. Pegasopolis I think we all know, Classical Greece.
@SeraphimDawn @PonyPon
It kinda depends how you define the term native. There wasn’t a definite mention of how long the journey from the old kingdom to the contemporary Equestrian territory was for them (or if these lands were both part of the same area), but most just assume they came from the north, since the map shows it’s still frozen.
@Lokizade
In the story of Hearth’s Warming, assuming that it’s mostly trustworthy, the ponies all lived in another land that went unnamed before coming to and settling in Equestria.
Something Sera should certainly know, given the times he’s expressed his belief in the ponies’ status as literal aliens.

Oh, man, I just love that movie
“HOLY SHIT! BLUE MONKEY! BLUE MONKEY!”

They did appear in Trade Ya, so this picture isn’t really a concept art from Se5…

Yeah.
I’m just curious what land they lived in before their move. Who know? The land could’ve been on another continent across the sea.
Ah, I figured you were referring to that episode, it has been quite a while since I’ve seen it ittedly.

Eh?
You already know they aren’t.
I sort of wish there’d be non-native invasive creatures in Equestria.
Heck, Ponies might not be native to Equestria themselves.
Have fun!
