It’s mostly the fact we wanted to try and make it a two of kind item where one fan owns 1 and show staff owns the other. With that in mind, if the digitals were released, who’s to stop anyone from printing it.
To those looking for the design for flash sentry, myself and Crusader decided to make only 2 of them. One which was personally given to Vincent during year 2 of BronyCan. The other was part of an auction. Most likely won’t be produced again.

Apparently it was custom-made for Vincent Tong at an earlier convention, but I think there’s potentially a pretty big market for these. Flash Sentry’s waifu-theft skills are bleeding over into the real world… :)

I’d really like to see this matter engaged with. I have a feeling that Sunset’s going home in the next movie; but if that’s wrong, or if Waifu Thief decides to pursue Pony Twilight in the other world or something, Sunset and Flash working out their issues could easily be a movie’s worth of content…
And then after that, he doesn’t even acknowledge she exists except when he’s rallying the Sunset Shaming Squad under the effects of a siren-induced hate plague.

And from the sound of the conversation where that came up, he’s lucky he did it when she was busy getting ready to conquer Equestria, otherwise she would have made him suffer for it. Despite her not even having any actual feelings for him at that point.
