On the topic of a sort of an Kirby x MLP crossover in the form of SMBZ, that truly begs the question: How will it be formatted? Like which characters replace who? What will the main setting be? Who would be Metallix in this case?

If I had to propose something, I can definitely see Sonic and Shadow being replaced with Twilight and Starlight Glimmer. Like Sonic and Shadow, both characters had initially started off as rivals (briefly, in a magical sense), to soon forming a mutual relationship with one another. As for Kirby’s side of things, I can’t really tell whether or not it would be Kirby and Meta Knight, or Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee (who’s sort of Kirby’s Player Two at this point).

That is true. To my understanding, he was just super disinterested in the show, and had to repeatedly clarify to fans it wasn’t his playing ground, nothing extreme or egregious.

Really? I would honestly think it’s the other way around. Mario’s lore and canon is pretty difficult to understand at times, for even the Mushroom Kingdom’s location is highly inconsistent, with Odyssey and all. Kirby has had some pretty cool callbacks from past events, and locations like in Squeak Squad when Meta Knight repaired and brought the Halberd out of the ocean which was submerged back in Super Star. Though, it’s probably a matter of opinion. I can see why you’re very Knowledgeable in Nintendo stuff especially now seeing who’s in your icon.
