Maybe hippogriffs don’t get married? I mean they are part bird, maybe they mate like birds do, in that they hook up,stick together till the eggs hatch, then go their separate ways. Would explain why neither seem overly concerned about not knowing where their son is and why they greet each other like their casual acquaintances instead of two people who are married or used to be married. Then again this is a kids show so I doubt that they would acknowledge that any kind of relationship besides monogamy exists.

They had one job, all they had to say was “ look we didint know this was going on, we reported it to the proper authorities and our hearts go out to the victims for the suffering they endured”. Thats it, video done, just like so many others, yet instead they fucked it up by shoving some ham fisted message about forgiveness down our throats. Some things can’t be forgiven, inflicting misery upon others is one of them.
