When I was just getting into this show and I saw there was an episode called “Boast Busters,” I thought it was going to be about Rainbow Dash learning to not be so boastful all the freaking time. True story.
Well I mean, it was the other way around in the episode. Rainbow thought Trixie was cool, then Applejack glared at her until she went “erm, I mean, magic-shmagic, boo!”
Which was the plot of a later episode in Season 2… And for some reason is the basis of walls of arguing whenever it’s mentioned. lel
I also figured that Trixie hyping herself up was part of her stage persona.
