I think the only thing that disappoints me is that it looks like they’ll be basing the characters off their original outfits. They’ll probably stylize it just like they did with Pinkie Pie here, but I mostly prefer their newer outfits. The only ones I prefer from the original are Applejack’s and Twilight’s.
I may not like Japanese cartoons and comics very much, but I really wouldn’t complain if they did a MLP/EG series taking place in two worlds. Maybe it would be a way of making fans a tiny bit less upset with the franchise’s reboot.

Kotobukiya does male figures as well. It’s their “Bishoujo” series that’s all ladies (and guys re-imagined as ladies).
