You know what I was just now thinking would be an interesting regeneration?

Have Reece Shearsmith, who played Patrick Troughton for one scene in 2013’s “An Adventure in Time and Space” play the Doctor as a kind of “second go-around” for Number 2. I’d be a great way to give him a chance to play the Doctor again the same way David Bradley got several times to play the 1st again, it’d be another “familiar face” for the Doctor to revisit, and it’d be kind of a cool reference to the plan from the mid-80s to have Troughton take on the lead again during the original run of the show.

Not to mention how creepy it is by having the Doctor regenerate into Billie Piper, as it could be interpreted as The Doctor skinwalking as one of their old love interests.

I mean, I know the Curator told 11 he’d be revisiting some familiar faces - “some old favorites” - but I think this is taking it a bit far.

“Oi, yo got a loisence for dat dancin’?”
