I often like to wonder what will ultimately happen to some of the real-world things (like wall murals and this door) that our fandom leaves behind. What will a kid a hundred years from now think when he finds this door buried in some forgotten storage space? Can he ever find out who the characters are? What kind of stories will his own imagination make up to replace the stories we know but he can’t?
Those plushies you have, keep them in good condition. It’s possible one of them ends up comforting a kid in a post-apocalyptic world a century from now.
