And , Gohan is a character he LIKED. Although given how well he’s treated Vegeta in of power and character development compared to characters he claimed to like in the past, I sometimes wonder if when he said he hated Vegeta, he meant to say that it “isn’t like he liked him or anything, b-baka.”
@Bardic_Knowledge
I personally think the best way to have done it would be to call the basic form “Saiyan God” and the blue form “Super Saiyan God.” Really tie home that they are two separate legends and then have Goku, as the man of legends, combine both.
@Dirty Bit
Actually, in Resurrection F, Whis outright tells Beerus that he probably shouldn’t mention that he told Frieza to take care of Planet Vegeta.
@Dirty Bit
That part always irritated me, even in Resurrection F. Freeza’s Golden Form was able to bring him to the level of an Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan; that should at least have put him close enough to Beerus’s weight class to make Beerus nervous.
In either case, I anxiously await Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Gogeta; maybe we’ll get lucky and Toriyama will stop shitting on Gohan long enough for him to get Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 2. XD
@Dirty Bit
That’s a Mistranslation Beerus did not tell Frieza to Destroy Planet Vegeta and the Saiyans. That was never said anywhere in the Manga prior to Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Super. And since when Frieza need to take orders from someone like Beerus?
And she gave him a fucking muffin. Which is why Equestria is still there. It’s right up there with Earth for favorite places to not blow up. No good fighters, but good food and company.
@8bit22
Yeah, sure. Whatever floats your boats.
dang it buu
You know how it goes in life: People change. Fictional and non-fictional alike.

Naw, you read the manga. Gohan’s practically becoming the next Yamcha, only he’s smarter.
@Bardic_Knowledge
Oh, okay cool XD

Super Saiyan Blue just sounds…silly.
(In the DBS Manga, they decided to rename SSGSS to “Super Saiyan Blue,” lampshading the fact that it took way too long to say.)

A mistranslation, hm? Shoot. It made too much sense…I mean, Frieza does fear Beerus after all, as shown in Dragon Ball Super

Nah, man, Spike took several levels in badass.
twilight you mean twilight.
what?!
Equestria confirmed for planet.
Yes, that. See, because it keeps Beerus’ whole “well, that’s a dumb reason to destroy a populated planet” thing.
I find it funny how Beerus ordered Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta rather than do so himself.
