And here’s why I stopped giving any credence to ANYTHING on the MSM years ago. To bastardise the old saw, Colbert is great until he covers something you actually have knowledge of.

The worst part about this isn’t that Colbert is looking into GG. It’s that after he’s done, no matter what he says about it, you just know that anti-GG is going to jump right into rubbing their “victory” in our faces in the most obnoxious way possible.

It will only bring us greater prominence. The more light shined on us, the more obvious it will be that the narrative being spun by the media is a false one. I’m more concerned about the effect this will have on Colbert than gamergate, to be honest.
Not to sound like a coward but to be perfectly honest, I’m kind of scared to see how this interview is actually going to go. Because I can really only see it ending in one of two ways- either A: Colbert eats up everything she says; or B: he makes fun of her for making such a big deal out of this whole thing, so she gets offended and then completely blows up at him.
Considering our shitty track record when it comes to standard media, it’s probably going to be the former.
