I keep getting logged out

I don’t know if it’s an issue with Chrome necessarily, but despite the fact that I check “keep me logged in” the site keep logging me out and I don’t know why. Prior to yesterday, it didn’t do this, but since then, it’s been doing it. Any insight on why it keeps logging me out despite the fact I ask the site to keep me logged in? I really need some insight on this issue =/

liamwhite1’s link explained for those not familiar with programming (as far as I understood, I’m still newb):  
When you and check “ me” a token is generated that re you want to stay online. When you on a different device or browser a new token is (re)generated, making the old one invalid and derpibooru no longer accepts your old device/browser.

Well, it’s not happening anymore, at least not yet, but I’m keeping my eyes peeled. Sorry to disturb you guys.

It’s still happening to me. I just had to log back in after only being away for a couple of hours.

And again! It logged me out after 3 hours! What’s happening?!

A bug is happening. That’s all that can be said right now.  
A fix is still not available so all it takes is some patience. Bugs in code aren’t something where you just snip a finger and they are magically gone.  
From what I’ve seen liamwhite1 is still on it and sends reminders to those who are able to fix this.

We’re waiting for them to release a version with this bug fixed, so that the code gets professionally audited before we deploy it. Authentication is srs bsns.

What perplexes me is that not only has this only started happening way after those posts were made on that forum, but that I’m only using one device! So why is it even happening?

Another thing that comes to my mind that your browser probably deletes cookies when you close the window. Ofc checking here is obsolete if you never fully close your browser

A fix has (hopefully) been released for this bug; I’ve deployed it just now.

Funny, the problem just fixed itself shortly after my last post for me. It was a real pain for a couple of days, then went away like nothing had happened.

Aaaaand now it’s happening again.

It keeps happening to me all the time. It’s annoying.

I also cannot stop getting logged out.
