I still love how Derrick Wyatt absolutely refuses to answer just WHICH aspect of Starscream that Slipstream was cloned from.

I feel sorry for him because at first he played it off as joke like “I try not to think about it” but he annoyed to end about it that he’s like “yeah sure” to whatever crazy ideas they come up with.

So does this idea work, Renaming Beast Wars Megatron to Predecon and having him name the concept of a Beast mode enabled Decepticon after himself?

You mean like the original Predeking components or Terrorcons? if so yes he would exsist at the same time though those guys along with the Dinobots are Shockwaves efforts to copy BW Meg’s work

So you are talking about in the Aligned continuity.  
Because in other ones Shockwave didn’t give the dinobots their altmodes, other then the g1 cartoon and animated they always pick them on there own.

More of a Ultimate fusion continuity taking the best from others and building a newer better one, things like basically making Hot Rod/Rodimus into a more chilled version of Animated Optimus Prime stuff like that,

Well in both Marvel and IDW they took on dino-modes because of Shockwave.

Meh, I prefer how IDW had them follow Shockwave to prehistoric Earth and scan the dinosaurs for altmodes as a nod to BW(energon field being the reason and skin over there beast modes and all), with Shockwave blasting the skin off them.

No, we move away from darker and edgier, no stupid Autobots are the enemy crap, we never go darker than Beast Wars or Transformers Prime,
