I decided to make this before the New Year. And I can hear the disagreeing boos emerging…
Okay, much like my “Honest Words” comic where I just came out and said some HONEST thing before MLP FIM Season 3 and Littlest Pet Shop premiered [link] I’m going to be HONEST about yet another thing that crosses through both brony and Petter’s mind.
Fans, especially the bronies, argue that Zoe Trent is Twilight Sparkle as a dog…I hate to break it to you but Zoe looks absolutely NOTHING like Twilight.
The only thing I can actually see in somewhat similarity is that pink streak in Zoey’s hair…but now I notice that Twilight has TWO streaks and Zoey’s pink one isn’t even the SAME type of pink as Twilight’s.
Same goes for the ENTIRE color scheme of Zoey. NOTHING. LIKE. TWILIGHT.
And also, I kind of wanted to draw this after a friend showed me this comic [link]

Yeah, sorry if I sound like I’m ranting, but I’m just basically trying to keep firm in my opinion because I just KNOW MLP fans are going to shove Twilight Barkle down my throat no matter how much I say I don’t see it.
I may be one of few out there who doesn’t see Zoe Trent as anything to do with Twilight Sparkle. They are COMPLETELY different.
Twilight Sparkle:
Reads a lot.
Level-headed and very intelligent.
Very considerate and chooses her words carefully before putting it down gently for others.
Zoe Trent:
Sings a lot.
Dramatic(drama queen, anyone?), a total diva, and contains ‘minor intelligence’ just to make it sounds less mean.
As Penny Ling mentioned in the LPS episode “Mean Isn’t Your Color”, she tends to say things that aren’t nice.
Honestly, the only thing these two have in common is that they are created by the SAME people. MLP FIM is it’s OWN show, and LPS is VERY different from it in EVERY way.
Seriously, can anypony, even Twilight, sing like this?

Anyway, hope this isn’t any offense to those who are keeping firm with the belief that Zoe is Twilight as a dog. Because I’m sticking to MY opinions just as anyone else does.

“fairly different” is only in the context of a sample group of the two of them. if you compared twilight and zoey’s color schemes and included even just the common color schemes of characters and background characters in those two respective shows you’d notice that, holy crap, the talking dog and the talking horse have fairly similar colors!

I hate to break it to you but Zoe colors were purposely chosen to be nearly identical to Twilight’s in order to attract Bronies to the show. It’s also why they chose to use the same VA’s musician’s, Ect.
And Twilighbarkle was created at a time when the only thing we had seen fro LPS was the intro.
