If you must know, I simply enjoy arguing. Socialists and Communists are the most fun because they posses some form of rationality, however misguided it is. Everyone else is like trying to explian color to a dog.

This is some god-tier delusion. A country that cannot defend itself is a failure. They failed because the didn’t take into the fact that their military was either weak or nonexistent.
 
And yes, welfare is a socialist policy. It takes what working Americans have earned (through taxes) and redistributes it to other people, whether or not the taxpayer consents to it. Now don’t take this to mean that I oppose tax in genreal. Taxes are necessary to run a country. I can get behind my money going to fund the military, schools, roads, and whatnot, but redistributing it to a system that incentivzes people to not get a job? Haha, no.

How is it Capitalism’s fault?  
Poverty is not just something that happens in only certian societies, it is everpresent. It cannot be erraticated, only mitigated. Socialism, as we have seen from the implementation of foodstamps and welfare in America, only makes poverty more comfortable and does not solve it.
 
If you want to use examples, look at present day Chile. They moved from a communist society to a capitalist and their unemployment rate has dropped to single-digit percents. The examples you have given are all outdated or so not apply. The Ukraine had moved on, Paris Commune has failed, Catalonia failed, North Korea can call it’s system whatever it wants, but at the end of the day a turd by any other name is just as shit.
 
Give me an example of a communist country that has prospered for at least 100 years (less than half of America’s age). Go ahead, I’ll wait. Communism has proven time and time again that you cannot build a lasting society on its principles.
