“Like all picturesque high schools, Canterlot High houses a dark secret behind its concrete, iron and glass walls. Unlike others, this secret did not spawn in the school, but arrived to it. Three years ago a one Sunset Shimmer came to Canterlot High from a place so fantastic, it could only come from a fairy tale. Three years ago Sunset Shimmer came here seeking what all megalomaniacs seek. Three years ago Sunset Shimmer thought her past only something to be conquered. Today she just returned from said place, obtaining the one part she needed to set her plans into motion. Tomorrow, she will sit on a throne. What she doesn’t know is her past sent her a present. A present in the form of a purple alicorn who will change Sunset’s future in ways that could only come from The Twilight Zone.”
As a fan of both shows, I just had to make an opening narration a la Rod Serling.
