People like attaching angst to kids media. It’s why fans of dark stories are mostly chill dudes while fans of cartoons are busy writing FanFiction of these characters getting their heads chopped off.
It is really funny though how much fan media there is portraying twilight as miserable from being old but here’s Spike basically serving as an “F U” to that concept
