Well it does present a rather big thing, the original concept art, also had designs for other creatures. Including dragons who now wore armor and seemed to be imperialist.

  1. Twilight destroyed them in The Ending of the End
    Or
  2. They did show up but this time there answer was complete isolation rather than friendship.
Correct, if there was no threat, and no need for co-dependency, they would not bother with eachother.
