I’m not interested in your bull shit conspiracy theories. Provide legitimate evidence on what you say - not just speculation. There is no evidence that ties Covid-19 to that military lab except for recently (April 2020) where they have been one of many labs chosen to help develop a vaccine for it. Their lab was shut down temporarily in July 2019, which was entirely unrelated to Covid-19.

Started in December 2019. Serious enough actions were not taken, countries were not accurately warned, and travel was not halted until very late January/early February. By the time action was taken, it was too late and it is why it has spread to many countries now. Action to contain this virus was delayed by the Chinese government.
 
Like I said, until I see evidence otherwise, that is how it is. And since it seems you only trust the World Health Organization on the facts, I have provided you with a link directly from their website backing up what I have said.

Doesn’t matter how it is personified. My point was that pathogens have been personified for many years. People are a lot more open about their sexuality these days and there is more “wank fuel” being made more frequently and available to the public easily. It’s also almost as if cartoon pornography is a relatively new development (past 100 years). In the 1840s the Geef brothers were each commissioned to create a statue of Lucifer to display at St. Paul’s Cathedral; however, BOTH statues the brothers created were deemed to be too ‘sublime’ and ‘seductive’. The first statue was rejected, but the second statue was reluctantly accepted. While Lucifer is not the exact same as a virus, he is still viewed by many as a bad figure in religion. You would think these brother artists would have portrayed Lucifer a bit more plain or repelling. They didn’t, though, because they preferred Lucifer to appear more alluring - just like he is in scripture. Many people also loved the statues and were highly against either of their removal. So just like anything in life, there were people who loved it and people who hated it. In a way, viruses could be argued to be similar to this. No one ever thinks that it will be them that get sick and/or die. No one ever thinks this will effect them. That’s been pretty obvious in countries like the USA, opening their states potentially prematurely (whether I agree with their decision is irrelevant). The allure of normal daily life and stable economy is too tantalizing and draws them in. Not everyone is willing to wait and be cautious around this virus - almost if they are being seduced. So I’d have to say that depicting Ebola-chan and Corona-chan as ‘cheap wank fuel’ is pretty damn accurate as today’s version of personified(ponified) pathogens. I don’t care if you agree with me on that or not.

You say you’re not interested “discussing topics not related to the art of rainbow pony painting,” yet here you are. In fact, you didn’t say you objected to my drawing - not directly anyway. You mostly just complained about people calling it a Chinese virus or the Wuhan virus. While, no, I obviously did not see a virus develop there with my own eyes, there is clear and undeniable evidence that this is where Covid-19 came from. Until I see proof otherwise, that is how it is. Also by the way, the official name isn’t Chinese Virus or Wuhan Virus, so I don’t even know why you’re complaining about that or even talking about the name or origin location of the virus. People may have called it this, but I never once have. I’ve only stated that the virus originated in Wuhan. People have the right to say what they please - that doesn’t make it official, but you also can’t stop them from saying it.
 
I’m sorry people were racist towards you. I’ve been experiencing people being racist and nationalist towards me, too. I’ve even received death threats. I don’t agree with it and I hope people desist with attacking you for voicing your opinion.
 
China was the first to report the virus (very delayed) to the rest of the world because the virus originated there and got bad REALLY quickly. There are videos of people traveling from China to other countries, KNOWING they have a fever and potentially the virus when this all started. I also hate to break this to you, but it’s believed that the Spanish Flu may have came from China as well. Whether that is fact at this point remains to be definitively proven, I feel, but it is still another perspective on its origin that definitely should be considered.
 
Top 20 deadliest pandemics and 14 of them may have or did start in China. Only 5 of them were named after a location.  
Not attacking Chinese people with this information, just stating a fact.
 
I don’t expect this image, or any of my other work, to get praise or respect. Humour and enjoyment is subjective, so I don’t expect all people to like it. Never said I wanted that or needed it. It’s just not necessary to become aggressive with me over it, like so many commenting have. I appreciate you, @wangkingfun2, for being civil and putting a conscious effort into your opinion rather than calling me an ‘American dog’ (not) or saying that you’ll kill me.
 
Anyway, my reply to you was not to discuss the naming of the virus, but the fact that what I’ve drawn is nothing new and a topic centuries old - just a new pathogen as the subject.
 

 
I don’t care if your mind is changed on any of this. I’m just clearly stating my opinion. If you wish to discuss the politics of this image or Covid-19, you can take it to a forum or somewhere private. It is pointless to send me threats or insults on this image or in messages because it’s not constructive, they’ll be deleted, and you’ll potentially be banned. Not to mention I don’t care and you’ll be ignored. I’ve said all that I care to say on this image.
