I’m not entirely sure how to react to this, I know Nintendo doesn’t mess around with NDAs like with that moonlighting incident, but ResetCancer did spearhead getting a few frames altered from Smash bros.  
But, he was kickvic it feels like a little bit of the mob looking for a new target, especially with how Vic seems to have good odds.

Every “first world” and “second world” nation has a “far below replacement” birth rate. The US is around 1.7 nowday.
 
Heck, the average liberal birth rate is around 1.2 or such so thats no surprise.
