In my book, heasters through victory would be the mashed up stuff (More that it just happens all at once in this universe)
 
Weirdest thing would be Optimus and Ginrai possibly simultaneous

They might be able to improve micron densetsu and superlink as well

I believe I’ve mentioned this before, but I think G1 would be a best fit in a game like GC (I can picture it pretty easily with that structure and aesthetic)

Yeah, SRW can do wonders for shows or works that are somewhat controversial. I can see Banpresto throwing in lines like, “I’ve brought this creature from an alternate world. An uncontrollable BEAST!” As stupid as the Beast was, it might make for an interesting boss unit, especially if you have Grimlock on your side swearing never to let that happen to his Dinobots.

Well, in Z they managed to combine Eureka Seven with the alternate movie world where Anemone happily married Dominique and is an elderly lady when the heroes meet her, and one character specifically notes how funny it is to think of the rather abrasive Anemone as this chill old lady.
 
They could also cheat and treat Optimus Prime (Movie) as a separate entity from Convoy (G1 Optimus Prime), and take similar advantage of characters whose names were different (e.g. Bumblebee and Bumble). For Ginrai, they can explain that Ginrai was meant to be an upgraded body for Convoy (rather than an attempt to resurrect him), so that wouldn’t be too difficult.
 
I’m having more fun thinking about potential lines, like the Axalon crew versus the Darksyde crew. “Time to excise this Maximal filth, yes.” “Right away, Megatron!” “I’ll drain them dry!” or the Maximals taking on G1 Megs with lines like, “Uh…big bot?” “Optimus, is that…?” “I know, Rhinox. But we can’t back down! Let’s do this, Maximals! _{this is just Prime…}”

the beast and majinzarak double event
 
speaking of which, will we ever get a story explaining why majinzarak exists? BW2 galvatron seems to hype it so much (wanting to summon bw megs but was more than happy that he summoned majinzarak instead) that it got my curiosity.
 
what if vigilem (liege maximo’s titan) is majinzarak in IDW?

If I right, Ask Vector Prime gave Majinzarak a backstory. And I’d love if Vigilem turned out to be Majinzarak.
 
Ooh, why not throw in Guiltar too? You know that SRW would get a lot of mileage out of the Quintessons. They’d sell Sharkticons and Overcharges to just about any faction.

I wanna see G1 Optimus be a father figure to kids like Shinji, Judau and Kicker. Maybe even the more prickly kids like Asuka.
 
That way, it’ll feel a lot heavier if Optimus bites it.

I’m pretty sure it’s a rule that they can’t use two different continuities simultaneously. (Y’know, like how Mazinger Z got replaced with Shin Mazinger in the Z series)

So by that reasoning, you could have G1 (Seasons 1-3, plus Heasters, Masterforce, Victory and/or Zone), Beast Wars, the Unicron Trilogy (Micron Legend, Superlink, Galaxy Force), Animated, the Bay Movies or the Aligned series, but not mix and match?
 
I mean, yeah, that does sound like a rule since they usually go with the Z Gundam movie versions of Kamille and the rest over the original tv versions, but I’m sure that people could argue that Masterforce, Victory and Zone could be separate from the other G1 stuff. Heasters has characters from the previous series play a bit part, so there’s no separating them, but the other three…

how would celestial being from gundam 00 would handle the cybertronian war on earth? considering their MO is stopping war with war, both sides would be on their targeting reticules. it won’t matter who is right and wrong, what matters is who is making trouble.
 
of course fighting aliens makes their main goal moot (unite humanity for the eventual first ).

True, but since it’s a Japanese game series, of course they’d go for the Japanese continuity (Nothing saying that Masterforce and Victory aren’t G1)

Also you can use two incarnations if they don’t use the same cast (Like Shin Mazinger and SKL)

Plus, the Cybertronian War is older the freaking humanity itself. That’s not the kind of thing that a group of well-meaning rebels in a single ship is going to be able to fix.

Ah. So technically speaking, they can use Convoy (G1 Optimus Prime) and one of the other incarnations that uses the name Optimus Prime, like the Optimus from Animated, Bay Movie or Prime because the name and personality are different.

Let me put it like this.
 
If there’s a chance that a character can meet themself, then they can’t be there in the same game. (I don’t think a name and slight personality change would make enough of a difference to justify it)
 
Also just me, but no american shows on the level of animated, bay, or prime unless proven otherwise. (I’m only including G1 cause I feel Heasters might be able to let that slide)

how come primal and megatron got two vastly different types of bodies despite undergoing the same power-up method by absorbing prime and megatron’s sparks?
 
optimal optimus is blocky/bulky while dragon megs is (while still very much metallic) is more rounded and “organic”.
